PRIVACY POLICY
SLVN Group s.r.o. ("we", "us") built RECON · Tactical Net Ops ("the App") as a network diagnostic utility. This policy explains what data the App accesses and how it is handled.
DATA WE COLLECT
The App does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data with us or any third party. All network operations run locally on your device. There are no accounts, no analytics, no telemetry, and no advertising SDKs.
PERMISSIONS
The App requests the following device permissions, used exclusively for on-device functionality:
- ►Location (When In Use): Used solely to read the active Wi-Fi network name (SSID) via Apple's CoreLocation API. Your coordinates are never recorded or transmitted.
- ►Local Network Access: Used to discover devices and services on your local network via Bonjour/mDNS and ICMP. No data leaves your network.
You may deny either permission; the App will continue to function with reduced capability.
NETWORK REQUESTS
The App makes outbound connections only when you explicitly run a tool (e.g., Ping, DNS lookup, Traceroute, WHOIS, TLS inspection, iPerf). These requests go directly from your device to the target you specify — we do not proxy, intercept, or log any traffic.
A single request to api.ipify.org is made to display your external IP address.
DATA STORAGE
No user data is persisted beyond the current session. The App stores only a single boolean preference (onboarding completion) in on-device UserDefaults. No databases, no cloud sync, no backups of your activity.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The App contains zero third-party SDKs, trackers, or analytics frameworks. The only external service contacted is api.ipify.org for external IP resolution.
CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The App does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
